Make sure that each and every member of the Guilford County Planning Board knows where you stand on the quarry issue.

Tell them we want NO QUARRY HERE!

If their phones are busy, keep trying them.  Be prepared to leave a message that voices your concerns.  Please try to stick with these talking points:

​• The original Lehigh Hanson information session held prior to filing did not provide adequate information about the impact of their proposed quarry.  There were no reports or findings made available to citizens regarding their numerous concerns. 

• What will the impact be on our well water? Will there be enough water?  Will it be contaminated?

• How will this affect our environment?  Will the soil remain fertile?  Will the air be contaminated with silica dust?  Have you heard of Silicosis?
